Noida: Three day Bosnian Festival of Cinema brought many film lovers, filmgoers, film professional and film students from all over India to AAFT at Noida film city to be the part of this international event.The first ever festival of Bosnian films was appreciated for the grand opening and closing function, selection of best films and two major workshops by renowned film writers and directors Aida Begic Zubcevic and Faruk Loncarevic.The six films which were shown are The perfect Circle, 1997 directed by Ademir Kenovic and will also showcase Walter Defends Sarajevo, 1972 directed by Hajrudin Kravac, Fuse (Gori Vatra), 2003 directed by Pjer Zalica, An Episode in the Life of Iron Picker, 2013 directed by Danis Tanovic, Mom (Sa Mamom), 2014 directed by Faruk Loncarevic and Never Leave Me, 2017 by Aida Begic Zubcevic.“The six films and two directors in person leaving a huge impact on the Indian film industry. The films are of international standard and emphasis has been given to emotions like Indian cinema. I would love to visit Bosnia to meet many more film makers soon,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah thanking every one for their deep interest.“We are in reality from the dream which we saw a month back to organize a festival this statute. ICMEI, AAFT and Sandeep Marwah with his complete team has shown again their capability of fulfilling dreams,” said H.E. Muhamed Cengic Ambassador of Bosnia to India.Present on the occasion the Consul General of Montenegro in India Janice Darbari proposed to make a feature film in joint venture with the Bosnian directors.” I would love to see these capable directors a film in India and I would love to be part of it,” said Janice Darbari.More than one hundred film lovers from all over India opted to be the member of Indo Bosnia Film And Cultural Forum whom membership certificated were also presented during the festival.Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah Honored Ambassador with life membership of World Peace Development And Research Foundation and presented life membership of Indo Bosnian Film And Cultural Forum to Aida Begic and Faruk.
