One of the highlights of visiting this vast frozen continent is to encounter its adorable penguins. There are five species here - two of which are exclusive to Antarctica, the Emperor and Adélie penguins. Three others - chinstraps, macaronis, and gentoos - live both here and in the sub-Antarctic islands of South Georgia and the Falklands.
