Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Annapurna Base Camp trek (ABC) is a destination that has found a place in many bucket lists. Why wouldn't it? After all, the splendid mountains and the rural setting are a beautiful escape everyone dreams to experience. Moreover, the trek is of medium-level difficulty, making it accessible for trekkers with sound physical health, regardless of no prior experience in trekking. Annapurna Base Camp trek lies at the foot of Mt. Annapurna (8091 m), the tenth highest mountain in the world. Mt. Annapurna is, in fact, the highest mountain of the Annapurna Massif that lies in Northcentral Nepal. Our destination, Annapurna Base Camp lies at an elevation of 4130 m. Adventure white mountain provides you with 14 days of Annapurna Base Camp Trek.

As our walking journey starts from Nayapul, we will experience the beauty of nature in many forms. All of our five senses will activate as we feel the fresh air, hear the yak bells tingling, taste the pure water, see the mountains and smell the fragrance of rhododendron.  Along with this, the journey also purifies our soul, rejuvenating our being. The spectacular views of Annapurna Sanctuary coming closer day-by-day will be the sole motivation for the endless tiring walks. Hiunchuli (6441 m), Annapurna South (7279 m), Annapurna I (8091 m), Machhapuchhre (6993 m), and other peaks greet us every morning with a golden glaze. Apart from these, the trail has many elements that spice up our walks. We will cross numerous fast-flowing rivers and high suspension bridges. Herds of yaks and donkeys passing by, and the horses grazing by the lush green pastures will be a common sight. Reaching a rhododendron forest seems like a fairytale setting, where the pink flowers try to cover the clear blue sky.

The settlements being influenced by Buddhism, you will pass by many Chortens, Mani walls, prayer flags, and Gambas. We pass by villages like Ghandruk, Sinuwa, Jhinu, Bamboo, etc. which are mainly Gurung and Magar Villages. Observing their lifestyle, tasting their food, and hearing their stories is certainly an interesting activity. At Ghandruk, there is a Gurung museum, where you can even dress as a Gurung. The Jhinu Danda, on the other hand, has a natural hot spring, washing off all your fatigue. Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) are certainly the best times for this trek when the weather is favorable and the landscape is beautiful. So, pack your bags and check off ABC from your bucket list. We at Adventure White Mountain do our best to turn your dreams into reality.
