In a state with the most RV parks of any in the USA, the Alsatian RV Resort is a standout - an exclusive, newish 156-acre spread is about a half-hour drive west of downtown San Antonio. In addition to 37 back-in sites and 25 long pull-through sites, there's a nice clubhouse with a good-size poolm a fitness center, as well as a large in-ground whirlpool; laundry facilities. Another interesting feature is a set of nine one-room cabins (which they term casitas) with rpivate bathrooms and outdoor kitchens. Perhaps Alsatian's particular pride and joy is its very own 18-hole golf course; and there's also a walking track and a small fishing lake stocked with largemouth bass.
