You need to walk an hour and a half to 2 hours to reach the Annapurna base camp from MBC. It is a beautiful trek, which takes you just a few days very close to the high mountains. Annapurna base camp through the Ghorepani Poon hill covers more beauties, although you can do a short trip if you are a time bounded trekker.
