Yes, we are Mountmandu, a Nepal-based travel and adventure company deeply rooted in the tourism and hospitality industry. We specialize in organizing authentic and personalized travel experiences across Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet—ranging from iconic treks like Everest Base Camp Trek and Annapurna Circuit Trek to cultural tours, nature escapes, and off-the-beaten-path adventures in lesser-known regions like Ruby Valley and Manaslu.

At Mountmandu, our mission is to connect travelers with the heart of the Himalayas through responsible tourism practices that uplift local communities and preserve natural and cultural heritage. We work closely with experienced local guides, support sustainable travel initiatives, and provide curated travel planning for individuals, groups, and international travel partners. As part of the wider Himalayan travel ecosystem, we are proud to contribute to the growing network of ethical and community-driven tourism in the region. 

On which destinations & travel topics can you advise members especially well?

We can offer expert advice on trekking routes like Everest Base Camp, Annapurna, Langtang, and hidden gems like Ruby Valley and Manaslu. I'm also well-versed in Nepal’s cultural tours, local experiences, responsible travel, and travel planning in the Himalayas.

What destinations are you most interested in learning about?

As a company, we’re most interested in learning about unique and emerging travel destinations around the world—especially those that emphasize nature, culture, and sustainable tourism. We’re particularly curious about trekking and cultural regions in countries like Peru, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, and Mongolia, as well as best practices in community-based tourism that we can adapt and learn from to enrich our Himalayan travel experiences.

Other travel / language expertise?

Along with travel expertise in Nepal, We have experience in planning trips to Tibet and Bhutan. I also have basic knowledge of German and enjoy learning how language connects us more deeply with different cultures while traveling.
