Hi Nicholas,
I appreciate your advice on Singapore. Wouldn't think of having a high tea there, but now I'll have to try it. So thanks. Is there a PR person(s) who's been of particular help to you in your travels there? I also plan to visit Malasia and Hong Kong. I'd be very grateful for any contact info... My direct email: ekrasov@yahoo.com. THANKS! Emma Krasov, Travel writer, San Francisco, USA.
I am a travel writer from San Francisco. Will stay in Singapore for a month in March-April. Looking for an isider tip on local activities, sights, restaurants, etc. to write about. Please advise if you have a minute. Thanks, Emma Krasov
Hi there, Nicholas! I'm abashed to say I haven't spent a lot of time in New England recently, apart from the occasional quick forays into the Berkshires of Massachusetts and visiting relatives in Rhode Island. But we have quite a few members from all the relevant states who I'm sure would be delighted to advise you -- just join the groups focusing on where you're planning to go, and ask away! It's a marvelous but very diverse region, so be sure to specify what your interests are -- beach, history, art, outdoors, food, etc.
Greetings, Nicholas, and welcome to Tripatini! It's great to have you with us -- and we think you'll find our site productive as well as interesting and enjoyable.
To get the most out of Tripatini, you may want to take a moment to join several of our many groups which you may find of particular interest, such as Media Only, United Kingdom, Outdoor Writers/Photographers Guild, Eating/Drinking the World, The Book Club, Antarctica, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Luxury Travel, Hotels/Motels, Eco/Sustainable Tourism, Adventure Travel, Family Travel, and plenty of others covering many other topics and most destinations across the globe.
FYI, on your profile you'll see a green bar marked "Text Box," which you can turn into a box containing not just text but also photos and even videos about yourself, your interests, your travels, Reardon Publishing, and your other work/outlets. If you send us a list of books you've authored currently in print, we'll be happy to include them in our online shop and feature them in our Book Club group and home page Read of the Week.
Finally, if you would, please be so kind as to spread the word among your travel-interested friends, family, colleagues, associates, and audience. It's fast and easy to use our "INVITE" function above left on the navigation bar to enter e-mails (even your whole list at once!). It would be great if you have the chance to mention Tripatini in any of your outlets, and if you might also be interested in occasionally blogging for us, guidelines/rates are available upon request.
Thanks much for joining us; we wish you a great holiday season and an outstanding start to 2010, and of course we look forward to seeing you online.
