Lynn, your logic about the floodgates is absolutely right. I guess you're thinking of visiting Cuba in spring 2012 -- or is the Editors Council meeting for 2011 still up in the air? Obviously, David is the right guy here; he and his partner have been to Cuba umpteen times and, in addition to their personal trips, they've led about a dozen tours, I believe.
But here's a possible snafu that never occurred to me until tonight, while sending this note to you: Would the Editors Council be able to get some kind of press rate from Cuban hotels and such? I'm just not sure; all I do know is that the island isn't cheap for us wealthy norteamericanos. So that question might be the next one to present to David and Jose.
Good to see you here, Lynn. I guess you're not in Germany right now? I was going to go, but then I decided I'd be better off not going, even if that meant I couldn't get all my money refunded.
Turns out I was right. It finally stopped raining in NYC the day everyone left town.
If you have any questions, problems, suggestions regarding Tripatini, just holler.
