“We are very excited to have Hoda Kotb with us for this year’s event to spread the word that breast cancer awareness is something that every woman, regardless of age, should be concerned about,” said Tantawi.  “Hoda is an extraordinary role model for women everywhere, especially those who have been diagnosed or are undergoing treatment for breast cancer.”

“As a breast cancer survivor, I am thrilled to support the Komen Greater NYC Young Professionals at their annual Painting Wall Street Pink event,” said Ms. Kotb. “ I was diagnosed in my early 40’s and now it seems like I keep meeting more and more young people who are battling the disease – people in their 30’s, even 20’s.  What I like about this event is that it helps create awareness and support and does it in a fun way – with music and dancing.  Right up my alley!”
