Building Blocks for Change & Care for Kenya Winter Ball in New York City
On February 1, 2014, Building Blocks for Change and Care for Kenya hosted its black tie Winter Ball at the Angel Orensanz Center in Manhattan. This fabulous fundraiser was hosted by Kenyan Ambassador to the United Nations, Bob Jalang’o, along with supermodel, Jessica Stam. The annual black-tie benefit raised money for sustainable infrastructure initiatives in Africa. This year’s event raised funds to build a women’s health clinic in Kiberia, Kenya for HIV/AIDS testing and treatment, as well as general care. The organization Care for Kenya is the operating partner on this project and they will be managing the Clinic.
Building Blocks for Change is the sustainable construction arm for international aid.
