KINKY BOOTS….the Tony-winning Best Musical with music by Tony® and Grammy®-winning pop icon CYNDI LAUPER and a book by Tony-winner Harvey Fierstein. It is based on the 2005 film Kinky Boots by Geoff Deane and Tim Firth, which was inspired by true events. KINKY BOOTS is a highly entertaining and inspirational story about understanding and accepting yourself and others for who they are. It’s the story about two men who come from distinctly different backgrounds, yet genuinely realize how much they have in common and the importance of understanding and friendship.

KINKY BOOTS is a fabulous high energy Broadway musical. Great music, highly entertaining and a talented cast. The finale was inspiring and uplifting! A must see. At the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, NYC. http://kinkybootsthemusical.com/reviews.php

Photos: http://kinkybootsthemusical.com/media.php

“THE HOTTEST MUSICAL ON BROADWAY! CYNDI LAUPER has created a score with audience-hugging charisma that performs like a pop star on Ecstasy. KINKY BOOTS is an emotional button-pusher about finding your passion, overcoming prejudice and transcending stereotypes. The finale is one of THE BEST CURTAIN NUMBERS since ‘You Can’t Stop the Beat’ sent HAIRSPRAY audiences DANCING OUT OF THE THEATRE. WONDERFUL!”

ABC News:

“THE MOST TALKED-ABOUT SHOW ON BROADWAY! So much FUN, YOU’LL DANCE OUT OF THE THEATRE. YOU’VE GOT TO SEE IT. CYNDI LAUPER delivers the BEST BROADWAY SCORE IN YEARS!”

The New York Observer:

“PERFECT for giving your out-of-town guests THE IDEAL BIG BROADWAY EXPERIENCE!”

TimeOut New York:

“THE VERY MODEL OF A MODERN MAJOR MUSICAL. It’s IRRESISTIBLE, with a HEART-STRONG cast. If you’ve been low, KINKY BOOTS may be just the thing to get you back on your feet! BILLY PORTER brings sass, dignity and vocal authority to a part he has seemingly been training all his life to play.”
