  • Hi Emma

What hotel are you staying at? Please tell me if you know in what part of town or village within Banderas Bay it is it is located! Puerto Vallarta has grown tremendously from being a "Quaint Little Mexican Town" know as "Taxco by the Sea" in the fifties...to a Gigantic Amusement Park...much like orland that God created since the beggining of time...known today as Bahia de Banderas or Banderas Bay...Featuring more than 100 places to go and things to do ...all located less than one hour away from Marina Nuevo...Our Home Port
  • Dear Alicia,
Jose Balido suggested I ask you about Puerto Vallarta. I am a travel writer on assignment. Will be in PV for only one full day. I'd like to see a beautiful beach/park/area, and to have a bite in a "hidden gem" so I could bring my readers some [pretend] insider tips.
I'd appreciate your help very much.
    Thanks,
    Emma Krasov

  • Muy buenos días, Alicia, y bienvenida a Tripatini! It's great to have you with us -- and we think you'll find our site productive as well as interesting and enjoyable.

To get the most out of Tripatini, we recommend you take a moment to join several of our many groups which you may find of particular use, such as Mexico, Tour Operators/Suppliers, Surfers' Board, Resorts Corner, Beach-Bumming, Adventure Travel, Eating/Drinking the World, Portugal, Boating/Sailing, Cruising, our Spanish, French, and Portuguese language/culture clubs, and plenty of others covering many other topics and most destinations across the globe.

FYI, on your profile you'll see a green bar marked "Text Box," which you can turn into a box containing not just text but also photos and even videos about yourself, your travels, Mexico, your company, and more (you'll help yourself and our other members greatly by providing your company's name and URL in your profile).

Finally, if you would, please be so kind as to spread the word among your travel-interested friends, family, colleagues, associates, and clients. It's fast and easy to use our "INVITE" function above left on the navigation bar to enter e-mails (even your whole list at once!).Finally, if you have a Facebook or Twitter account, please join our fan page and follow us (see front page info box), and tweet us! We'll be happy to follow you, as well.

Thanks much for joining us; we wish you an outstanding start to 2010, and it goes without saying that we look forward to seeing you online.

    Cheers!
