Though politically/economically still a mess, these days Zim's calm; finally rid of the Mugabe dictatorship; and holding its own touristically, with soft adventure, a wealth of wildlife, and impressive sites like the Great Zimbabwe ruins and Victoria Falls. Certainly OK for group travel.
