This trio of islands each offer something a little different. St. Thomas is the busy cruise port, resorts, and shopping mecca. St. Croix has more history and fewer resorts. And St. John is mostly national park, along with a mix of fancy upscale and budget camping resorts. A little something for everyone!

An interesting historical spot in Charlotte Amalie: dedicated in 1833, the Hebrew Congregation of St. Thomas is the oldest synagogue building in continuous use under the U.S. flag and the second oldest in the Western Hemisphere.
