Didn't realize I'd be the 1000th member, but COOL! Thanks for the special welcome :)
Actually, I am currently shopping several story angles based on a recent press trip to Marquis Los Cabos' luxury resort (also highlighting the area's other of upscale offerings). If anyone is familiar with publication titles that might take interest in such article focuses as destination spa, holistic health, gastronomy & wine, eco-interest, arts & architectural profiles of world-class resorts, I'd love to hear your thoughts! - Thanks a bunch :)
Stacey,
Wouldn't the plug availability be more up to the airline? Air Canada has plugs in all rows of the planes they fly internationally, but then they also have a much better entertainment package, with each seat having its own TV and a choice of movies, television programs, games and music.
Love my Acer Aspire One Pro - upgraded to a longer-life battery when I purchased it. Battery life 6 hours plus. Fits very nicely on airplane drop-down tray. Lighter than my laptop to carry while backpacking. Only drawback, the touch pad is very small so my thumb and pointer finger get cramped. Could get a mouse, but no where to use mouse inflight.
QUESTION: Is there a place on a 747 20 hour flight to New Zealand where I can charge up my 6-hour battery? SeatGuru says no plug-in in Economy... ;o(
