    La Real Academia Española (RAE) acaba de publicar una nueva gramática del castellano (de unas 4.000 páginas) que pretende describir y no dictar cómo se habla correctamente nuestro idioma. Por lo tanto, todas las variantes del castellano, desde Asturias hasta la Patagonia, ya no sentirán que su forma de hablar es 'incorrecta'; ahora, según el presidente de la RAE, Víctor García de la Concha, la Academia 'observa y documenta,' y son las personas comunes y corrientes las que hacen las reglas.

    Oye, no mames! Just came across an interesting piece in the NY Times about a phenom I've definitely noticed in Mexico: common use of swear words like cabrón, pinche, and especially güey.
