Ceuta´s "Royal Walls"

The oldest sections of the Murallas Reales were erected in 962 by Ghomara Berbers who revolted against the Umayyad caliphate, but they were mostly built in the 1540s by the Portuguese who ruled here for 253 years before ceding it to Spain. They´re impressive to walk and especially take a boat ride between, on the canal. There are also a couple of modest exhibits inside.
