What´s up with Blue Origin in 2026

A major player in suborbital tourism, founded back in 2000 by Jeff Bezos, its New Shepard launches vertically like a traditional rocket and carries passengers in a fully autonomous capsule. A typical mission lasts about ten to twelve minutes, with roughly three to four minutes of weightlessness at the top of the trajectory. The capsule features large panoramic windows designed to give passengers sweeping views of Earth. But this past January the company announced that New Shepard tourism flights would pause for roughly two years while resources are redirected toward lunar exploration programs and development of spacecraft for NASA’s Moon missions.
