Outside the city of Hofuf in the Al-Ahsa region this flat-topped massif some 2,000m tall among other things harbours some interesting caves to explore, it's now included in a cultural park called Land of Civilisation,. and is also part of what´s considered the world's largest desert oasis (8,544 hectares/33 square miles).
