Russian billionaire oligarch Roman Abramovich commissioned the Eclipse in 2010, and it was at that time the world's largest and most expensive privately owned yacht at $1.5 billion. At 533 feet long, the Eclipse features two helipads, 24 guest cabins, two swimming pools, several hot tubs, a disco hall, and a mini-submarine that can submerge up to 50 meters underwater. No expense was spared on the lavish interior detailing, which includes a handmade staircase crafted of crystal and a master suite clad in marble. For the ultimate privacy, the yacht is also fitted with an intruder detection system and even a missile defence system.
