Opened in Alfama, Lisbon´s oldest district, in 1998, it displays fado-themed artworks along with sheet music, videos, music samples, and other paraphernalia. You can get an audio guide to explain it all in English and other languages, and it´s of passing interest to most of us who aren´t thoroughly in the genre. But if if fado happens to be a passion of yours, this is a must.
