Opened in Lisbon´s oldest neighborhood the Alfama in 1998, the Museu do Fado displays fado-themed artworks along with sheet music, videos, music samples, and other paraphernalia. You can get an audio guide to explain it all in English and other languages, and it´s of passing interest to most of us who are unfamiliar with and uninvested in the genre. But I imagine if fado is a passion of yours, this place must be da bomb!
