A few years ago I had the privilege of attending this national extravaganza, held in Tallinn together with the Estonian Dance Festival every five years since 1869 (the next one is in 2024), and I even got to sit in front of the then president of the country. One of the world's biggest choral events (and a UNESCO World Heritage Intangible Masterpiece), these days it involves some 30,000 singers and pulls in crowds of around 80,000.
