Out on the Bygdøy Peninsula, a few minutes´ bus ride from downtown, one of the most impressive of the peninsula´s various museums was founded in 1894 and is now home to more than 150 buildings, brought from across the country and dating back to the 11th century. The most important and impressive is this one, the 12th-çentury God Stave Church from the Hallingdale region north of Oslo. So atmospheric!!
