Down in the state´s southwest corner, also 4½ hours from Salt Lake City as well as five from the town of Moab, this city of around 95,000 has been a prominent filming location for parts two and three of Horizon. St. George serves as a gateway to the region's natural treasures, offering a glimpse into the lives of those who dared to tame the wilderness. Explore the St. George Tabernacle, a historic building (hosting worship since 1869) which stands as a testament to the town's pioneering Mormon history, visit the Brigham Young Winter Home and learn more about how the area was settled by church members; and don't miss the St. George Art Museum, which of course showcases the region's artistic heritage.
