Part one of Costner's highly anticipated movie was filmed in the area of Moab, Utah, which is only five miles from Arches National Park. one of Utah's five mighty national parks, and renowned for its dramatic red rock formations and iconic arches. As a traveller, you can hike to famous arches like Delicate Arch, Double Arch, and Landscape Arch, marvelling at their impressive structures. Additionally, make sure to savour the 25-mile Arches Scenic Drive, which passes the majority of the park's viewpoints and trailheads. And if you're a stargazer, Arches National Park is designated as an International Dark Sky Place, without light pollution and thus offering incredible opportunities for stargazing.
