The Great Synagogue of Budapest

Dating to the mid-19th century, it´s is the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Located in the Jewish quarter of Pest, it can seat 3,000 people, and was built in the neo-Moorish style, featuring decorations based upon Islamic models of North Africa and medieval Spain.
