Out in Abidjan Lagoon, in 2023 a French entrepreneur built a small resort consisting of a pair of thatched bungalows, a couple of pools, and a restaurant and bar, covering nearly 11,000 square feet - all resting on a platform created from some 700,000 plastic bottles and other throwaways. Sounds intriguing as well as sustainable!
