very few tourists know what nature offers around Rome. Skiing slopes during winter and beaches in the summer represent a great opportunity for a one-day break from Rome.

Buzz the skiing near Rome that you write about looks like a real good deal for the locals but if I'm coming all the way from the u.s. then I'm skiing at Cortina.
