Built by slaves mostly in the 1740s and named after Admiral Horatio Nelson, who lived here for three years in the 1780s, this Georgian complex in the village of English Harbour, on the southern coast, is open to visitors and includes a fort and an interesting museum. But it's also a working marina and home to prestigious sailing and yachting events.
