About one percent of Rwanda's population, these "pygmy" people are semi-nomadic hunter gatherers concentrated around Lake Kivu and other lakes along the borders with Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo. They're also among the several tribal groups which can be visited through several tour operators for a fascinating cultural experience.
