Nigeria's mystical Osun-Osogbo Sacred Grove

On the banks of the Osun River outside the city of Osogbo (a drive of just under three hours northeast of Lagos), for at least 400 years this forest has been sacred in the Yoruba culture, dedicated to Osun, goddess of fertility, and is dotted with some 40 works of art and shrines like this one, and traditional religious worship still takes place here.
