Recently, we visited a midwest city reknowned for it's fountains. In fact, it's sometimes called the "Rome of America" because of all the fountains to be seen there.
You know what? Outside of the baseball stadium we only found one working fountain.
This got me to thinking, my hometown of Los Angeles has way more fountains than we saw there, so I decided to start cataloging them.
Starting with today's brand new report at The World on Wheels, we're going to see how many we can find. Our first installment opens with 15 fountains...just a drop in the bucket, so to speak...that can easily be found in downtown L.A.
From spectacularly grand cascades to the tiny trickles, we've got you covered.
Come on over today and see the first installment of The Fountains of Los Angeles.
