With my husband David and our Belgian friend Griet in front of the Belfort van Brugge on the Markt square. One of the city´s most iconic landmarks, it was built around 1240, is 272 feet meters tall, and has a 47-bell carillon - and yes, we climbed the 366 steps to the top!
