Four years ago I had the priviledge of visiting Mr. Saunders, who at age 85 was still going strong as a craftsman as well as bonefishing guide (a high point was when he guided none other than Martin Luther King Jr. during MLK's 1964 and 1968 visits - he also guided Richard Nixon).
