Guam's 'latte stones' are a cultural icon

These structures made of limestone, sandstone, or basalt are found in Guam and throughout the rest of the Marianas Islands, a symbol of the culture of the Chamorro people who have inhabited these islands since arriving from Southeast Asia around 2000 BCE.
