Yes, a winery in Alaska (the state actually has four of them). Located just outside town in a picturesque setting, Bill and Dorothy Fry´s 22-year-old winery (above) is especially known for its award-winning fruit wines, such as blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry, and also produces chardonnay, merlot, blue zinfandel, and port. Besides welcoming visitors for tastings and tours, there are also a couple of nice suites and an apartment on the premises for overnight stays.
