Making your buck, quid, euro, etc. go further has never been more important in these times. Fortunately there are still tons of strategies for taking off -- whether you're a student, a senior, or somewhere in between -- without landing in the poorhouse.

The legendary U.S. travel journalist and entrepreneur Arthur Frommer passed away November 18 at the age of 95. Born in Virginia and with an early boyhood in a small town in Missouri, Arthur was a lawyer who became a pioneering and great travel journalist, and who will be remembered as having helped open the joys of travel to the masses. For the best inexpensive way to see Canada, consider a camping road trip. Driving is the best way to see the country and Canada's National Parks are well-maintained, as close as you can be to Canada's wilderness and fairly cheap (less than $30 for a campsite, although some parks will get you on an additional park entrance fee. Fundy National Park is a gem in New Brunswick; we went for a big hike, brought lunch containers, and spent the day by the side of a secluded riverbank we found, and rented kayaks and saw a baby moose feeding in a small lake! A great way to experience Canada.
Come see the what Mother Nature does with the colors in Arkansas!
Beautiful time!!
