This is a smart move, John. Organizations like this have to open up their meetings to recruit. I can think of at least a half dozen writers who joined ASJA after attending a meeting or two as non-members.

Fantastic! Thanks so much for your help and guidance.

I loved Japan when I visited many moons ago as a high school exchange student and was so impressed with the beauty and history of Kyoto.

I'll be lecturing in Seoul on sustainable tourism. Any information you might be able to share about your destination would be great since I speak often on wellness travel and work with travel agents and travel trade pubs.

Hi Camille, I represent the city of Kyoto. You can contact me about a temple stay at Shunkoin Temple sub-temple in the Myoshin-ji temple complex, Kyoto, Japan. You can find the temple mentioned in Michael Luango's article:

A growing hatred for airports and airlines for their pricing tactics and their lack of consideration for travellers..... but in between the flights...all is love! I would rather be 'on the road again' with nowhere particularly in mind as long as there is some flyfishing, mountains, lakes, beaches, golfing and a place for a little imbibing...
