Yes, it's still a (more or less) communist country, but it's also a lovely corner of Southeast Asia with truly enchanting scenery; tasty cuisine; nice beaches; plenty of exotic architecture,  historic sites, and buzzing cities including Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).

    3. Mai Linh Taxi / Number: 04.38 616161 or 04.38 222 555/ rate: 12.000VND/km

    4. Airport Taxi /Number: 04.38 866666/ rate: 180.000 VND to 240.000VND/way

    (Only From Hanoi city to Noi Bai int'l Airport and VS)

    Please just take one of them for your safe journey.

    When you start from hotel, please ask receptionist for calling an honest taxi for you. We will give you clear information of distance, proximately cost and a Hanoi map.

    When you start from somewhere else, please ask cabin clerk or local people for calling or you can catch on the way

    but only above taxis.

    Especially, Avoid taxi with NO phone number on car, NO Uniform driver, NO call operator inside, NO time counting.
