I don't think it's only ilegal loggers; but also multinationals which do not care about the enviromment and indigenous villages such as this one but their own interests. Let's work responsibly all together!

CNN: In an effort to ramp up pressure for Peru to crack down on illegal loggers in its region of the Amazon, an indigenous rights organization has released what it says are photos of an uncontacted tribe in Brazil that is threatened by the logging across the border. Problem is, will this really stop logging?

Hi Cessy, the article will be on my sites, www.LatinFlyer.com and www.LatinFlyerBlog.com, later next week. During my travels around Latin America I've come across several really cool but now defunct hotels with interesting architecture and super cool histories (then I'm going to follow that article with a round-up of 5 or 6 very cool mid-20th-century hotels that actually still function). I would loved to have been in Lima in '83 to see -- I bet it was a gorgeous hotel!
