You´re retired but the spirit of travel and adventure, having fun, learning new things, has no age limit. If you can't make your travel passion enough of a reality during your working years, then take advantage of retirement to explore the world, either solo or with your better half. And there are airlines and online agencies that specifically provide discounted senior airfares, but at the same time, it’s challenging to find the right flight deal at the right time and the right place. read…

Read more…Did you know that California's second largest city sees, on average, nearly 36 million visitors every year? As a matter of fact, it’s considered one of the top travel destinations in the states. So what’s bringing all of these people to San Diego each year? Two months later in Wales I qualified for a discounted train ticket.
Love both of your sites and would like for you take a look at mine - http://www.travelonthelevel.blogspot.com designed for anyone who prefers to travel with less strenuous walking and fewer stairs, or just wants to know what to expect. One of my peeves is when the media confuses the term boomers and seniors. Most of us are not decrepit, don't wear Depends and are not ready for assisted living. The youngest boomer is 46, while the oldest clocks out at 64. While there are a number of boomers in that age segment who have health difficulties associated with aging, there's also a large number of us who still run businesses, travel the world and pursue adventure. However, as the boomers age, there's going to be a great need for travel designed with seniors in mind.
I specialize in writing about active travel for baby boomers at My Itchy Travel Feet, The Baby Boomer's Guide to Travel. Feel free to contact me.
