Cruising can be one of the most value-friendly vacations going. But how the heck do you choose from all the choices out there? Here are some resources (including non-traditional cruising, like freighters) and feedback.
How Princess Cruises is servIng up innovative dining
The exclusive dining experience on the Princess Discovery is unlike any other I have been a part of during my travels. "360: An Extraordinary Experience" is dining immersion making one feel like you’re sitting in the Greek countryside with olive trees or smelling the fragrance of lavender in the south of France. If I don't like the service I don't tip (or don't tip as well). The cruise line withholding what I do tip is not right.

Maritime law requires that a ship comes to the rescue if they see a distress signal. I was on Seabourn Odyssey this winter when the ship rescued three stranded fishermen in the South Pacific. Your vacation & how much you spent on it does not outweigh the lives lost on that other boat.
If you spent thousands of dollars to be on vacation and it was YOUR ship in distress (like the Costa Concordia) how would you feel if other ships / boats did not feel obligated to help you out?
This morning on talk radio there talking about the Carnival cruiseship that didn't stop to help a fishing boat. If I'm on that cruiseship and it's my vacation and I spent a lot of money, and there are a thousand other passengers just like me, should we really HAVE TO pause to help another boat? Shouldnt that be our choice to make?
