What do you wear to Seven Magic Mountains?

Seven Magic Mountains is an art installation located in the Nevada desert, and the weather can be quite hot and dry. You may also want to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. It's also a good idea to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. While there is no strict dress code, it's important to dress appropriately for the weather and…

  • "I've heard rumors that Entourage's days are numbered..."

You mean that show on the CW that's based on that horrible agent whose brother became Obama's chief of staff and now Mayor of Chicago?  I wish you were right.
  • thanks Ed :-)
  • Now I use Entourage and have only had it crash about four times in six years. My Mac guy gets upset with me because I generally have 20,000 saved emails in Entourage, plus another 50-60,000 in the files. What can I say, I'm a cyber hoarder. I wonder if we'll ever get our own TV show?

  • What I'm ready to give up on is Entourage.  When I switched from PC to full-time Mac last year (for a couple of years I was a hybrid with a Mac laptop and PC desktop), fooolishly I installed the laptop's Office for Mac on the iMac, so I could use Entourage which is a Mac version of PC Outlook that I knew and loved and hated.  Dumb move.

Entourage crashes regularly -- at least a half dozen times today alone.  I click the prompt to send the report to both Gates and Jobs, and it reopens within seconds -- but not to the email I was reading or writing the moment it crashed.

I've heard rumors that Entourage's days are numbered, but I'm terrified of making the switch.

Added note -- I'm a proud left-hander, along with people named DaVinci, Einstein, Obama,  and guy on Tripatini named Lynch.

  • Walt's a nice guy and all, but I had to sit through one of his speeches not long ago at a Columbia Journalism School reunion, and...well, can somebody summarize for me instead?  Thx.
  • I used Firefox for a couple of years and finally switched to Google Chrome about a month ago. For me Chrome is lightning-fast. Firefox was hogging all my memory and crashing at least twice a day, or making my computer so slow that I would type in a letter and it would appear on the screen 5 seconds later. So, I'm happy with Chrome for now. But I just watched the Mossberger video below and maybe I'll re-install Firefox and give it another chance. Has anyone else given up on Firefox? And more importantly, can anyone else tell me if the latest version of Firefox is working faster and hogging less memory? thanks!!

  • 11 out of 18 people in my journalism class were lefties. Er, as in left-handed. Politically they were also lefties, but then we're Canadian. Your Democrats seem a bit too Tory for us.
  • A few more thoughts: 1. You're a lefty, too, Allan? My sympathies. 2. Sorry about your burdens, Chris, but we can't kill you. Your photos are too good. 3. Regarding my slam against Bing, do any of you actually prefer it to Google?
