While there is no strict dress code, it's important to dress appropriately for the weather and…

  • A travel writer who stayed at my house for a few days accidentally left a dress shirt, shoes, and a toiletries bag behind. Most travel writers, I'm sure, leave things behind just as he did, because you're always changing hotels. What things have you forgotten in hotel rooms -- and did you ever get them back?

  • I think they are very customer-oriented. I've been to their properties in Vail and Aspen and liked them. (I'd love to have the Vail bathroom in my home!)

Staff were pleasant, cheerful, truly friendly and ever ready to help. I enjoyed the food. Good locations to use as a base for wandering around. In Vail the beds were so thick and I'm so short I almost had to get a running start to get on to the bed. Not the most damning thing to be said of a place.
