BTW, I was in Vancouver Dec. 08 and in Vancouver and Whistler in January 09 doing my Olympic coverage. It snowed in December and almost brought the city to a halt. I was out to dinner with friends on Saturday night. It snowed three inches and the next evening my flight was delayed seven hours because of the snow!

Whistler had tons of snow then and it snowed while I was there. I've been to Whistler five times and even in April you'll have enough snow on the mountain to ski or snowboard. I don't ski, but I started getting snow reports about mid-November for Whistler.

Whistler had snow all along. Remember, Vancouver is on the coast, Whistler is two hours away in the mountains.

thank you for your comments rundles--no she hurt no one and was in fact stopped to have call a cab to drive her home when the cops showed up and you know the rest-it was a one time thing and she does not even drink on a regular basis--thus she is still mortified--sigh
