Tengboche monastery is an ancient historical Buddhist monastery in the Everest region. There are daily offerings in the morning and evening every day and the Mani Rimdu (special Buddhist festival) celebration is around the territory of this Monastery every year in October/November. The Everest view trekker just visits this place and then returns back to Lukla. However, the EBC trekkers, high passes trekkers, and Everest base camp Gokyo lakes trekkers stay a night in this hill station and keep continue their trek further.
