I´m headed there tomorrow, so I thought I´d share this. The status and situation of Ceuta and its sister city Melilla (which I´ve already visited) are compared by some to Britain´s colony of Gibraltar, but there are many differences. Two of the biggest are that unlike Gibraltar, Ceuta and Melilla were founded before Morocco even existed as a country, and they are also integral, self-governing parts of Spain, not colonies. Anyway, have a look!
