Mathura and Vrindavan together form the most popular single-day pilgrimage destination from Ghaziabad and a Tempo Traveller makes this journey easy, affordable and deeply enjoyable for the entire group.

The distance from Ghaziabad to Mathura is approximately 170 km via the Yamuna Expressway — travel time of 3 to 3.5 hours. Combined with Vrindavan, which is 15 km from Mathura, the full circuit is comfortable in a single day with a 6 AM departure.

A well-planned day itinerary from Ghaziabad covers: Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple in Mathura, Dwarkadhish Temple, Govardhan Parikrama if time permits, ISKCON Vrindavan, Banke Bihari Temple, Prem Mandir in the afternoon, and Nidhivan before returning to Ghaziabad by 8 to 9 PM.

Day trip Tempo Traveller pricing from Ghaziabad to Mathura-Vrindavan starts from ₹5,500 to ₹9,000 per vehicle depending on size. This route is particularly popular for Janmashtami season — but note that the highway and temple queues during Janmashtami make it a 2-day trip rather than a day trip.

Best time to visit: October to March. Summer months see extreme heat and temple queues can be 2 to 3 hours long. We recommend weekday travel for shorter queues and a more peaceful darshan.
