Detailed Itinerary: Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi Airport
6:30 AM: Departure from Delhi Airport and travel to Agra by car
In order to provide you with a beautiful glimpse of the Taj Mahal first thing in the morning and to avoid the crowd, our driver will pick you up early from Delhi Airport (times can be altered as per your Flight schedule). After that, you will travel on the Taj Expressway to Agra for three hours. A thirty-minute break will be provided for relaxation purposes. This can be omitted if desired.
10:00 AM: After arriving in Agra, meet the guide and go to the Taj Mahal
After breakfast, you will be taken to see the “Taj Mahal,” a symbol of love. The Fifth Mughal Emperor erected this famous 17th-century monument in honor of his adored wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is among the world’s most symmetrical monuments. This is one of the seven wonders of the world that takes about 2.5 hours to explore. Later on, you could want to view some of the best neighboring marble inlay work. After that, your next stop is just a short 20-minute drive away.
12:00 PM: Arriving at the Agra Fort
Adding ‘The Red Fort of Agra’ to your list of must-see monuments is a superb way to honor this magnificent example of Mughal architecture. Knowing more about this fortress will captivate you, as it remains steadfast despite numerous civilizations changing around it. It is among the strongest forts ever constructed. It’s time for a delectable lunch, which is included in the package. You’ll be driven to a five-star hotel for it. This will take about forty-five minutes.
2:45 PM: Mehtab Bagh
You’ll need to travel through the city on your way to your next destination, which is Mehtab Garden and the Village Walk. It will take you thirty minutes to get there. You will reach the garden around 3:15 PM and be treated to a unique panorama known as “The Sunset View of Tajmahal.” An entirely new perspective on this remarkable monument — which you will be able to witness in person — as it changes color at sunset.
4:00 PM: Departure from Agra to Delhi Airport
Our guide will bid you farewell after helping you gather all of life’s great events. Now, a driver will take you back to the Delhi Airport.
